Balou'Czar - May 15, 2014 RPSI colt by
Bon Balou (Balou du Rouet x Argentinus x Landadel) out of Whimczical (Alla'Czar x Art Deco). Incredibly correct with a lot of presence.  Super prospect for either the hunter or jumper ring.

Sire Bon Balou was the Jumper Champion at the 2012 70-day North American stallion test. He is a modern young stallion with outstanding jumping ability and a super temperament. Dam Whimczical has an extensive hunter breeding resume that includes wins at Devon, Warrenton and IHF, as well as a Zone Championship and a USEF National Reserve Championship. She was Reserve Champion in the IHF 4yo performance division (winning the Conformation over fences) and was shown lightly in the First Year Pre-Greens, where she had good ribbons over fences and won the hack her first time out. She is now taking some time off to produce a few foals. She is a very good jumper and an outrageous mover. Her 2013 filly by Galatois (Galoubet A x Matador) was Gold Premium and Site Champion at her RPSI inspection.

Update: At inspection Bruno received an impressive 9.0 for movement and a score of 8.6 overall.  He was Gold Premium and Site Champion, and then Reserve Champion colt for the 2014 RPSI inspection tour!

More photos on the Nursery page.

SOLD - Congratulations to Jo Emblin on her super new jumper prospect!

Lawless - May 1, 2014 RPSI colt by Legaczy, out of Cheyenne (Nevada):

Big, correct, quiet, and outgoing. Shows excellent potential for the hunter breeding divisions before starting a career in the hunter ring. Lovely flat kneed movement. He will finish over 17h. All his full siblings have been incredibly easy and straight forward to start and are making up to be fantastic amateur horses. His 2010 full brother was IHF Reserve Champion 2yo under saddle and his 2011 full brother won good ribbons this year in the IHF 3yo performance division. His 2012 full sister was just backed and was sold to a USDF Gold Medalist as an upper level dressage prospect. More pictures on the Nursery page.

SOLD - Look for him on the line next year with Junior Johnson Training & Sales.  Congratulations to the new owners of this fancy colt!

Giczelle - May 2013 filly by Galatois (Galoubet x Matador) out of Whimczical (Alla'Czar x Art Deco). Very elegant, yet substantial with a beautiful head. Outgoing and friendly. Should be very competitive on the line before a hunter/jumper career. Giczelle demonstrates the phenomenal movement of both her dam and sire and is sure to be an athlete over fences. Giczelle was presented to RPSI and earned a Gold Premium score. She was also awarded Site Champion.

Some information on Giczelle's sire: Galatois is an American bred stallion by the French Jumping Sire Galoubet A who is by Alme. Throughout his show career Galatois competed very successfully with a professional in the Green and Regular Working Hunters, and he also competed with his Amateur moms in the A/A's or the A/O's. He is very amateur friendly and so are his offspring.
Giczelle's dam: Whimczical is by the renowned Dutch sire Alla'Czar and out of an Art Deco mare. She had an extremely successful hunter breeding career including wins at Devon, Warrenton, IHF East, & IHF Finals. She was the USEF National Reserve Champion 2yo (leading filly). She was also Reserve Champion in the 4yo performance division at the International Hunter Futurity Eastern Regional in fall 2008 (winning the conformation over fences). She then showed lightly in the First Year Pre-Greens where she had good ribbons over fences and won the hack her first time out.

Congratulations to Beth Louisell in Virginia on her purchase of Giczelle!

Noblesse - May 2013 First Premium BWP filly by Legaczy out of Spoiled Straight

This is the long awaited full sibling to Legaczy's first foal J Mackenzie.  "Kenzie" scored an 85 at inspection, making him the second highest scoring colt on the 2009 BWP/NAD inspection tour.  He then showed at Upperville in the very competitive Other Than TB Foals class where he was 2nd out of 14.  He went on to numerous wins in the FEH divisions, and was 2yo Grand Champion at the 2011 FEH East Coast Championships.  He is now under saddle and preparing for the Markel/USEF Young Horse dressage program.

This filly looks as if she should follow in his footsteps.  She has big uphill movement and a super temperament.

Congratulations to Kate and Joe of Maryland on their purchase of Noblesse!

Milestone - 2012 gelding by Legaczy out of Princess Warlock (TB), chestnut with large star, snip, and lower lip. Very tall and correct, with a big hunter type trot.  He exhibits the best attributes of both Legaczy, and his very refined TB dam.  He should be a super competitor in the hunter breeding before becoming a performance horse.  First Premium with BWP/NAD at inspection.  IHF Nomination paid, lifetime recorded with USEF.  See the Nursery page for more photos.

At Last - 2006 RPSI filly, 15.2 1/2hh. By the Zweibrucken stallion Le Mode, out of Night Shade by Meisterwind (Trak). Lorelei is extremely quiet and uncomplicated to ride and to handle. Great to ride both in the ring and out in the field. She has three beautiful gaits and a lovely jump that is slow off the ground and easy to ride. Successfully shown in hunter breeding as a 2 year old, and with only four shows she finished in the top three for 2 year old fillies in VA, MD and Zone 3. Show lightly in the Baby Greens, she needs no prep at the shows and has taken very good care of her adult amateur owner. She is eligible 1st year pre green or would be a contender for the Small Hunter division. She is an easy keeper and easy to live with. A true class act and will be a lovely addition to any barn.

Congratulations to Anna on the sale of this special mare.
